01Who we are and what these terms cover

Simplify is a web design and development studio for businesses in Mexico and the United States. These terms cover the use of www.simplifymx.com and the general conditions we work under. Each project is also governed by its signed proposal; if anything in the proposal differs from these terms, the proposal prevails.

02Proposal and price

• Published prices are for reference and are in US dollars (USD): a new site starts from $1,000 USD.
• The final price depends on the scope of each project and is set in the proposal, together with the scope and the timeline. Anything that does not fit the budget is stated in the proposal, before we start.

03Payments, cancellations and refunds

• Each project starts with the payment of a deposit; the balance is paid on delivery. The amount of the deposit and the payment dates are set in the proposal.
• The deposit is non-refundable, including if the project is cancelled once it has started: it reserves our time on the calendar and covers the design work, which begins right away.

04How we work

• Before we write any code, you approve the design in a clickable prototype.
• To keep to the timeline we need your information, your content and your feedback on time; if they are delayed, the timeline moves by the same amount.
• Changes of scope requested after the proposal is approved are quoted separately, in writing, before they are done.

05What is and is not included

Each project includes what its proposal says. Unless the proposal states otherwise:

• Product copy and photography are provided by the client; if they need to be produced, they are quoted separately.
• We leave the site with analytics configured and ready for advertising, but managing the ad spend is not included.
• The costs of the domain, hosting and third-party licenses are paid by the client.

06After launch: 30 days of revisions

Each project includes 30 days of revisions from its launch. If something does not work or does not convert the way you expected within the agreed scope, we fix it with no new quote. After that period, support and improvements are quoted separately.

07Who owns the site

The domain, hosting and third-party licenses are contracted in your name and on your account: they are yours from day one, including if you stop working with us. Once the project has been paid for, the design and code delivered are for your business to use.

08Use of this website

The content of www.simplifymx.com — text, design, images and code — belongs to Simplify or to its respective owners and is offered for information purposes. It may not be copied or reused without authorization. The information on the site, including reference prices, may be updated without notice; what counts for a project is its proposal.

09Liability

We take every care in the work we deliver, but we are not responsible for failures or changes in third-party services (hosting, domain, platforms, payment gateways or external tools), or for business results that depend on factors outside the website.

10Privacy

How we handle the data you share with us is explained in our Privacy notice, available at www.simplifymx.com/privacy.

11Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. We may update them; the version in force is always the one published on this page, with its “Last updated” date.
